Tambo Amazonico Lodge

The
Tambo Amazonico Lodge is located on the shores of the Yarapa River, at 75 miles
SW of
Iquitos
(4-hour trip), is
Paseos Amazonicos Jungle Lodges proposal for those who require
very-close-encounters with wildlife. Due to its strategic natural environment
position in the
Pacaya Samiria National Reserve buffer zone and
closeness to the Amazon River
formation, access from Nauta, visitors find rich biodiversity in its
surroundings.
For environment conservation sake the Tambo Amazonico Lodge was not planned to
shelter large groups and thus its dimensions are inferior to those of the
Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge or
Tambo Yanayacu Lodge; thereof comforts
offered are basic. It has two shared rooms and each one can accommodate up to 10
people. Rooms are insect screened but mosquito net for bed is also provided.
The bathrooms and showers are found outside the rooms. It has a dining room with
a lounge area, a kitchen and storage rooms. Protection provided by screen and
nets are very much appreciated considering the wet tropical forest conditions
found in this area.
Service and facilities adopt safety systems used in the first two lodges
